Participation

Researchers and practitioners are welcome to contribute to the conference.

Submission of your Abstracts

The following points needed to be considered when submitting a paper to the RESER conference:

  • Your abstracts should contain meaningful content on the following:
    • Problem/Objective
    • Methodology
    • Results
  • You can enter your abstracts directly into our conference tool.
  • There will be no file upload.
  • The length of your abstracts is between 2,000 and 2,500 characters.

Review Conditions

Scientific contributions were double blind reviewed. The reviews were based on your submitted abstracts.

There was no peer review of contributions from companies which cover use cases, experiences or development ideas related to the conference topics.

Presentation of your Contributions

After the review process, you have been informed about the result. For the presentation of your contributions, 15 minutes lecture and five minutes discussion were scheduled.

If your abstract was accepted, you could have additionally submit an extended abstract (6000 – 8000 characters): Extended abstracts were published in an online conference proceeding (URN, e-book) and both are also be available at www.reser.net. You could submit your extended abstract also via conference tool.

It was also possible to contribute a »full paper« of no more than 20 pages (including all appendices such as bibliography and list of figures), which was published in our electronic conference proceedings and at www.reser.net. In this case, you had to use a MS Word template to write your text and submit it via the conference tool too.

Alternatively, you could have chosen a presentation only. So, you did not need to submit an extended abstract. You could have decided whether your presentation will be published at the www.reser.net or not.

The duration of the presentations in the parallel sessions was 15 minutes, followed by five minutes for discussions about the paper.

The conference language was English.
